whats even funnier is its not a left wing paper but “classic liberal” one which is supposed to believe in the value of capitalism and a efficient free market :laugh_at:
and they know its the free (trial) subscription as it says Proefabonnement on the euro-credit for €0,00
not only is this a pointless expense (it costs money to send the zero invoice and that paper with the euro-credit is also special stock) there is also no better way to fuck up a finance database by posting zero invoices into a sales ledger – it really pisses off anyone in the accounts department (I am a finance manager at work and it really annoys me to get things like this in the batch file from an operational system as they need to be manually unpicked before they cause a fuck up elsewhere – try getting a computer to divide by zero and you will see why…)
I’d be tempted to put the euro-credit with nothing else into some automated machine and see what happened, but it would certainly be “dat mag niet, toch niet normaal” and its got your address on it, they’d probably find some excuse to nick you and deport you to België for that kind of stunt (where such behaviour is tolerated a bit more due to the tradition of surrealism)
