  • is possible fund any place for sleep around Northampton for 10 days in normal price??? I need that because I think to take some learning in Northampton and that take 10 days. about 15 per night is for my ok

i dont think there is any hotels in england that you can get for £15 per night…

there is a website where you can find houses that have a spare room, but i cannot remember it..

look for a local B&B man

its is called Couchsurfing where people advertise their spare rooms

shame it isn’t Reading or Ipswich as I would have tried to help pawel more, especially as from his posts on here he comes across as a intelligent and good man (and I can understand him as he types how my friends from poland in my old party crew K32 speak 😉 )

but I have only ever been to northants once…

one big one which from memory is made up of 2 or 3 smaller crews in SE and Western England who merged together in the mid 2000s.. last party I did with them they had a entire phase of electricity for their stack off a 100A cable (three of us wired it up for safety and we were doing steve irwin impersonatiions as this cable was like a big snake)

I lived in Reading where a lot of the crew are based from 1992 to 2006 but work and a change of direction in my life brought me to East Anglia.. was looking over some old photos last weekend and I miss the fun and the parties but not the sketchiness with drugs/internal politics etc…

ah i see, which would explain why a number of complete rigs have been sold under relation to k32.

and i thought 64a was large.. fooook me, u must have balls to have fiddled with that kind of power :laugh_at:

thats why there was 3 of us, one at each end of the cable, another in the middle (whose job it was more to fend off the rig owners if they were being impatient as they obviously wanted to get set up) so there was absolutely no way the cable could end up energised in such a way as to put anybody at danger – it was bare tails one end (what go into a three phase distribution panel) and a red commando (400V) trailing socket on the other (to go into a portable distribution board)

I remember the cable being a euro-cable with the new colour codes (actually not even that but three browns marked 0 1 and 2- my initial thoughts were “what the fuck is this cable? I’ve never seen such a thing before!” so we had do it carefully and sensibly.

I don’t do this sort of thing any more as stealing electric gets you arrested, but when I did do it I put as much effort into being safe as EDF or Scottish and Southern Energy’s engineers would..

    nutter!
but at least a nutter that doesnt have a hollow head
