I’m a 40 year old man in good physical condition – I work out, eat properly, don’t smoke, don’t drink a lot and I occaisionally take drugs. I did quite a lot of coke at the end of the 90’s when it was still worth the name – I’ve taken E/MDMA a fair bit over the years, speed several times, mushrooms a couple of times, salvia once, smoked plenty of dope and over the last 18 months I’ve been interested in so called ‘research chemicals’.
I couldn’t believe it when I first discovered mephedrone – it seemed like the best of coke and MDMA rolled into one but after about half a dozen times of taking it I had some nasty come downs and didn’t bother any more.
I’ve tried NRG 1 and thought it was very dodgy, NRG 2 crap (but it seems I tried a bad batch), DMC (pointless), and green granules, IMO the best legal drug around at the moment.
So that’s my experience and I feel I’m qualified to make a judgement on NRG 3.
I know you are supposed to treat 1g as enough for 10 people and started by snorting about 50mg. Half an hour later I didn’t seem to be experiencing anything so I took another 50mg. Half an hour later, still no apparent effect. So bearing in mind my unsatisfactory experiences with DMC and NRG 2 from the same vendor – I suspected that it was going to be more crap and snorted a much bigger pile – maybe 200mg. Half an hour later and still no effect so I bombed about 100mg. And after a bit more time I thought ‘sod it’ and snorted some more.
Then – all of a sudden, well over two hours after my first line, I felt massive rushes and a kind of disorientation. I went and lay down and felt glad that it was having some effect at last. At first it seemed vaguely enjoyable and my memory’s a bit hazy now but I snorted and dabbed some more – at any rate I ended up doing at least 800mg over the space of a few hours.
And the rushes got more powerful, and more and more and my hands and feet went cold and clammy, then my whole body started getting hot and cold sweats. There was serious constriction in my chest and if I shut my eyes I spun out of control. I lay there waiting for the effects to calm down but after about 12 hours they were coming on stronger and stronger. A guy on here said he masturbated for 24 hours on this stuff. Well my genitals virtually disappeared but I tried to masturbate because it was the only bodily function that was just about working and the only thing I could do to keep my mind off the horror my body was going through. I felt like there was an elephant stood on my chest and was seriously worried about my heart. I then endured a sleepless night with no subsidence of the effects.
After about 48 hours of continual sweating, no sleep or food (obviously) the effects began to calm down and on the third night after taking it I finally managed about 6 hours sleep. It then took 5 days before my body returned more or less to normal but now, more than a week later – I’ve still got a worrying tightness in my neck and chest.
I never taken anything so obviously massively toxic and I’m worried I may have caused permanent damage to my health. NRG 3 makes coke seem like a f*cking health tonic by comparison. Imagine something about 20 times stronger than speed and you’ve got some idea. And here’s the rub – there didn’t seem to be any psycho – active effect whatsoever, nothing pleasurable – just sheer full-on body load.
Yeah – I know what you’re thinking – I’m an idiot for taking so much. The thing is – either the effects were so subtle I didn’t notice them ’til I’d taken a lot or it takes a really long time to come up. Either way – I thought I’d been sold a dud and went for broke. And I expect a lot of other people to get caught out like this. In fact I’LL BE AMAZED IF NO-ONE DIES FROM THIS SHIT!
A truly horrible experience and one I wouldn’t wish anyone reading this to go through. Please, whatever you do, don’t go near this.

There is no such drug as nrg 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc. they are just random mixtures of other legal/illigal compounds. :yakk:

Whatever any of this shit actually is I would never go near it in a hundred years.

Hes right. Its just a mixture. Its a way of selling off all the MDPV, MBDB, Methylone, mephedrone and all the other now-illegal RC’s that vendors had lying around after the ban.

what has that got to do with nrg 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9? (and besides I’d of said the same thing about jolly green granules tbh – unless the chemical name of an RC is stated I wouldn’t go near it with a barge pole … even then you can;t know for sure you’re getting what you’re paying for … but atleast you can make a guess!)

if its prolintane (which is at present not a controlled substance anywhere in the World) then the vendors should have the integrity to openly divulge it and sell it as such, and accept any competition just as any other business operating in an open market has to do.
Otherwise Customs/Douane authorities have every right to talk as much “rubbish” as they have the power from elected consensus to control what goes across a sovereign nations borders in accordance with their national laws, to seize it on suspicion and have it tested.
The raw powder is being further coloured and altered into some wierd proprietary form rather than the vendors being honest, its hardly surprising authorities are even more suspicious than in if the packs are sold with legit labelling (as some UK RC vendors do actually provide).
the only moral argument to allow drugs by post sales to continue is that the dealers are providing a less dangerous and purer alternative than conventional street drugs, which to be fair was the case with some cathinones provided users weren’t greedy and kept a watch on theier short term mental health.
but the only way drugs by post will be less risky is if there is transparency and honesty over what chemicals people are ingesting. otherwise it is no different to the normal street drugs trade and under current legislation authorities worldwide have every right to stop it.
Well I’m glad my post’s stirred up a bit more interest in this. I’ve got good reasons for thinking that NRG 3 etc are specific compounds and not concoctions of illegal stuff but that’s probably for another thread – as is a debate about the ethics of the whole trade.
The purpose of my post was to warn people about the serious harm NRG 3 could do to them and as a matter of interest – I’m still noticing coldness/numbness/tingling in my hands and feet as well as discomfort round my chest and neck.

All over the world, chemists are trying to create recreational drugs and this is one of them. Don’t forget that only a couple of years ago, m-cat was new and hardly known and its success and subsequent ban has sped up the search for something new.
Last year, there was a news report on TV about the ‘research chemical’ trade and the reporter visited a Chinese lab. While she was interviewing the owner, I noticed a bag on a shelf that was labelled ‘NRG 3’. This was before I’d seen it advertised online and I think just after I’d tried NRG 2. Me and my mates had a laugh about it – in a whatever next, kind of way.
So clearly, NRG 3 is not something that UK vendors have thrown together from left over stock. Its effect is similar to NRG 1 and user reports that I’ve read are prettty consistent. My guess is that it’s similar to NRG 1 but different enough to get round the law.
I bought it from a very well known online vendor and I think it unlikely that anybody running a profitable business that’s highly visible and carefully exploiting legal loopholes would risk losing it all by selling something illegal. Any vendor left with stock after last year’s bans would simply have sold it wholesale to dealers in illegal drugs.

Tests have been done on a verity of NRG products and they have shown they contain different and sometimes illigal chemicals. Not sure how you think the fact that you saw a bag labed NRG3 in the background of a TV show proves anything…
NRG-3 is clearly just a brand name not a chemical name.
Agreed – NRG 3 isn’t a chemical name but seeing it hot off the press shows that it’s not something thrown together in the UK.
If you know for a certain fact that tests show current NRG products to be illegal then I stand corrected. Can you provide a link?

no it doesnt show that though all that shows is that someone on the TV had a bag with NRG3 written on it. I am not saying there isnt a new chemical that is often sold as NRG3 however.
The reports are around, may be some linked already on here 2bh but no idea where I would find them now. Have seen a few about NRG products however in the past. GL might be of more use.
