I think the Nu-rave scene and Free parties would work really well together raaa , there’s a thread here of some nu-rave being played at a Free Party:

by the way this Nu-Rave music has nothing to do with that shite indy bollocks such as the klaxons etc.. the nu-Rave I’m talking about is like an updated version of Altern8, Prodigy, Baby D etc…
Also forgot to say, for anyone interested in finding out more about Nu-Rave/ Hardcore Breaks there are scans of a couple of good magazine articles written about the music scene.
If you double click on the pages you get a larger readable version

A lot of the local DJ’s here (Suffolk) play this. I’ve heard it at free parties before and its popular.. The only problem is our scene has been locked down totally because of a backlash from locals and cops.
Are you this snap?

Free partie looked good! been dying to get into the free partie scene for a while to try and get back to how it used to be? any help would be MUCH appreciated!!
ROCK OFF RAVE ON!!!!
I do like it. There’s a lot of potential there but as a scene it’s blighted by too much bitching and in-fighting between crews.
I’ve got most of it- probably the biggest section of my collection- up until the end of 2007, but then got bored as the vinyl releases slowed down.
Saying that I’ve recently heard some corkers- like this remix of Weather Experience:

I did play some B2B with a mate at the last big Real Eyes party a year or so ago. Couldn’t see anyone as was playing behind the stack, then came round after dropping the Dub War remix to see the biggest crowd of the party.
Sweet. 😉
