look like a good buy for someone who cant really play loud music (flat) but just wants all round good quality sound for music games films etc. I have no need of CD or DAB or anything else physical.

I reckon it looks like a good deal for £60

My Dad bought some of these the other week. Think they sound wank personally – the bass was too loud even with the sub turned right down (so it will probably piss off the guy in the flat below you) and just generally they sound a bit shit.

They have them set up in currys etc so you can go and hear some if you want.

Dunno what to suggest otherwise though if you’re after computer speakers. The specs aren’t worth the paper they’re written on when it comes to cheap consumer equipment (they’re either irrelevant, or have been got to by the marketing department who leave out important details e.g. the freq reponse of those Logitech speakers may be 40Hz-20kHz but its certainly not flat or even +-3dB across that range), so the best way is to listen to a few pairs. Personally I’d get a pair of cheap whatever’s going on ebay and an amp, you can probably do it for the same price as those computer speakers.

I do already have good quality stero speakers, perhaps then an amp is the way to go. Thanks man I will get looking

they do the trick… although subs onthem pc surround kits are always rather unbalanced.. too loud in relation to other speakers

will any amp take any speakers? the speakers I have are left over from a top of the range micro hifi system of 4 years old.

I got a 2.1, Creative 2.1 250d THX. I would say get these for around 100 bucks coz they r ace, very clear sound and make the room shake when u turn them up with no distortion whatsoever. They dont sell em anymore though. I think there is Logitech 2.1 that is just as good for about 100. I just looked it up on amazon, Logitech 2.1 z-2300 and its got ace reviews.
