Actually not a fool, the head of GCHQ says people have no absolute right to privacy.
UK spy chief, parroting his US counterparts, calls for crypto backdoors | Ars Technica
Apart from supposedly being innocent until proven guilty, we should all apparently submit to spy agencies watching and having access to all our data, because only bad people need and should expect privacy. Obviously people in oppressive regimes like China, Iran, Syria etc. should feel the same and Google and Apple should be ashamed of themselves. Never mind the fact that US cops hap[pily snoop through devices and in the UK, people can be compelled to provide decryption keys.
No doubt the head of GCHQ and the FBI use no crypto on their devices as they have no need or right to privacy.
Clowns.
