All in all an enjoyable trip – first proper lsd in yrs! It came on really fast and quite strong. In retrospect I should’ve maybe prepared for the trip a bit better because once I was in full swing it was very hard to think about anything normally…sorting out music, turning off telly, lights, sorting out the dog – these kinda things were a real struggle and took a lot of concentration.
The body-load I think was due to anxiety which was manifesting itself physically (although I’ve read impurities can cause this…maybe unlikely in microgram dose though) – this could be because I haven’t had a decent lsd trip for so long and the fact I wasn’t 100% sure how much stronger it was gonna get. Once I lay down, relaxed and concentrated I could channel the body-load into a mild euphoria but this took what felt like discipline. My phone went off a few times which scared the shit out of me!
Eventually sorted out some music after intense concentration – put on some classical which was incredible! Walls were breathing, pictures on the wall melting, wardrobe turned to liquid…all the usual stuff.
There were moments of ‘seeing the light’ as it were, but I found myself unable to fully let go…not sure why – shame as the main reason I take psychedelics is for this kind of introspection. I drifted for an hour or so to KLF Chillout (recommended if you haven’t heard it) then kipped off – height of the trip lasted about 4-5hrs. Unlike some I seem to be able to sleep on acid (and other drugs).
Woke up about 9.30am feeling good!
Looking forward to the next time…some kinda benzos definitely required to relieve the anxiety and possibly some weed.
