Did anyone else try to go to the party in Walthamstow, to find it shurt down by the police by 1am? My friends and I then travelled across London on night buses to Acton, to another party, managed to get in by 4am. Second party was really good, 3 different rooms, nice atmosphere and met loads of cool and nice people, although felt 15 quid to get in was a bit much.

A mate was involved with the walthamstow party. Got sectioned 63d, they had to do a 1 rig private party and it didn’t start till 5am. btw I was too poor to go but glad I didn’t 😛

A lot of squats are getting shut down at the moment, but the ‘private party’ squats in owned buildings are going strong, played at one a couple of weeks ago. 3 rooms, nice decor, you could smoke etc, and only a tenner. I think semi-legit parties are the future.

It was alright in the end, we gathered a group, and trekked to acton. The bus journey was absolutely hilarious.

How did I not hear about this?! I live in Seven Sisters, I was on the doorstep pretty much.

theglobeismyeye, you got any contact details for the soundsystem that set up the rave in walthamstow??

Im staying by the dog stadium for now..

im tryin to think where would a party be held in stow? maybe near blackhorse rd station?

Dunno but walthemstow’s a 10 min drive from me. I used to goto the dog’s loads when I was younger. 😉
