british – brits…… whats the difference, plz enlighten me
its not the same tho and i thought everyone knew that mate. If its an innocent mistake fair enough, but the fact is it is a racist term regardless of what its derived from. I thought everyone was aware of that.
FYI:
Paki / Pakki(Primarily UK and Canada, sometimes US, NZ and India) a South Asian. Within the UK, the term originated in Northern England, where a large number of South-Asians arrived in the 1950s and 1960s. It is usually considered offensive when used by a non-South-Asian in the UK.[123][124]List of ethnic slursyou – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia might also want to look at…
Paki (plural Pakis)
Usage notes
The abbreviation Paki acquired offensive connotations in the 1960s when used by British tabloids to refer to subjects of former colony states in a derogatory and racist manner. In modern British usage “Paki” is typically used in a derogatory way as a label for all South Asians, including Indians, Afghans and Bangladeshis. To a lesser extent, the term has been applied as a racial slur towards Arabs and other Middle Eastern-looking groups who may resemble South Asians. During the 60’s many emigrants were also dubbed as “black” to further segregrate them from the white community. Some would say such a division still exists in parts of England.
In recent times there has been a trend by second and third-generation British Pakistanis to reclaim the word. The word has been turned into a keepsake for the young British Pakistani community that is not acceptable for someone outside the community to say it, including Indians and Bangladeshis.

Would i do such a thing? :weee:
to be honest i heed what you say, and ill take it on board on this forum, but only if a pakistani tells me he finds it offensive then i will believe it
assuming your not asian its probably not a good idea calling a pakistanian a paki even if they know you know there from pakistan .. as the majority of people that have said that word to them have most likely used it in a racist way .. so they would automaticaly asume that you were as well …
yeah i know, all people like that like to call white people racist and abuse our freedom eg sharia law…… ffs
cool, cool, but why not take on board what other people are telling you? i assume you dont actualy have to be told by a black man first hand that he might find you refering to him as a n*gga offensive.
what do you mean ‘all people’ like that?
just wondering, but have you taken that racism test that marcus posted up?
and this..
“and abuse our freedom eg sharia law.”
doesnt actualy make any sense.
though if a black person calls you white trash its not racist, but nigga to them is to racist. eg big brother when jade goody was aparently racist (never watched it myself but heard alot about it and was pretty unfair)
