the bleakest aspect of this is behind the scenes all of the conservative religious lot (irrespective of whether they are Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Sikh etc or whatever skin colour they may be) are all working together to eliminate stuff like the rave scene – and the drugs culture – quite simply they want us all back worshipping beings in the sky and working hard/obeying our families rather than taking drugs and dancing to music, and stuff like this is a big win for them…
in India, there are also a load of conservative Hindu activists what go around grassing up all the Indian raves and if they have enough muscle turning them over with vigilanté gangs – one of these gangs beat up the DJ’s, confiscated (i.e robbed) all the sound equipment and computers they were using and grassed up the rave and handed in the drugs to the police – some of the “activists” got arrested but what often happens is they are let go after giving some of the confiscated stuff to the cops…
but few people realise stuff like this happenes unless they bother to read the Indian news.
I’m not sure whether to believe the Mirror or the Indian authorities about the Muslim terrorist using recreational / party drugs but the damage has already been done and its another bleak thing for the Indian party scene – and perhaps the global traffic of ketamine as Indian feds are doubtless going to be locking down their country and international couriers a lot more in the wake of this incident.
