Give Norfolk a Rest – Party Reports Forum

    jack daniels is famous lol

i shall have to watch when i get home cant in work wont let me

set dogs on the ravers I say!!! bloody hooligans!!

    Haha, cool.

Although dont agree with the video though. Its well one sided. Instead of presenting the facts to the viewers for them to make their own mind up whether raves are a problem, they just tell you how they are “successfully” fixing the problem.

I also dont like how the main copper mentions about the money to be made illegally, but he then quickly says they have stopped this by seizing lots of equipment. Makes it sounds like the crews are to blame if drugs get sold. Also makes it sound like the crews are doing it for money too :you_crazy

They are right, drugs do get sold at raves, but to what bad result? Maybe they should target town where coke and piss heads are beating fuck out of each other. Grrr, I could go on and on with these things, but I wont seen as we are all thinking the same hehe.

HAHA thsts a claim to fame n a half if u ask me, SJ DIDNT GET ON THE NEWS!!!!

What the fuck, they said “people do it to try and make a lot of money”

What are they living in, 1990? It’s not fucking Castlemorton anymore, there’s not that much money in it!

To be honest it was put to sencible debate here and the report showed that the actions of a few crews was not condoned here. Whereas it might of been descussed diffrently on SJ…

This has also happened in 2005 as well with the BBC South when there was lots of raves on the Ridgeway. Hardly surprising when this place makes no attempt to hide itself from google, it has always been the way it has been run here.

BBC went through a spate of asking me and others from round here if anyone wanted to put “their side” across, it was considered but Auntie often can’t or won’t protect sources if recent crime is suspected (they are obliged to give info to Police if approached with a Court Order).

As for the “money” aspect, its more from a different perspective to what it was like in the 1990s or 1980s. Its not like the feds think (or see) people driving around in flash motors etc like wannabe gangstas (although they do take note of the “Ali-G” style chat on some forums)

what they are looking at is how young people without a lot of resources or steady jobs are able to spend and risk loads of money on sound equipment, records etc – they are simply “following the money”.

Most of the “normal” public (even younger people) have already made up their minds that raves are a problem. People got lax during the good times and didn’t think about the wider picture and a massive backlash has erupted.

And just because other forums don’t get on the news doesn’t mean that they aren’t also being closely monitored. Sometimes the cops or media don’t want to give places that they consider to be facilitating crime any free publicity.

my post is on there too, haha i am famous only messing seriously though its a load of bollocks what money do they think these things are run by big firms? oh welll

id sue the BBC for not paying to put this website on the VT
