Am “testing” a few Dj’s on my radio to maybe play on Party Vibe

How does people feel about reggae music on the radio?. not really sure because I’ve never heard reggae here, and will not ask them before I know peoples opinion, I’ll keep them on HGM if they are not wanted here.

I spoke to Olly and Titch in person earlier in the year and said they wanted to start up the radio again but maybe once every month.. I know both of ’em have been really busy with “normal life stuff”

I find with the Norfolk lot (browner/amental) they tend to blame us for technical problems caused by their sketchy NTL (virgin) connections – in the terms and conditions NTL/virgin do not encourage or support running a server (which is what audio streaming is) and often chokes the connection, especially if its in a house full of young people downloading torrents etc..

professional radio stations use ISDN for their remote links which guarantees the bandwidth but it is very expensive and you have to pay for two two hour telephone calls as well for as long as the show is on air..

I think round here there is very low morale about the dance music scene as the cops have been so hot on clampdowns and people are finding it hard to get motivated – for instance Evil Kitty in Essex is finding it hard to fill their slots as well… (hmm maybe we should link up with them and relay some of their shows if its possible?)

they are excellent – only suggestion I would make is to make some of the fonts slightly larger especially the one with our URL on it..
