send an email to paypal asking if it’s for real …
Good idea. 😉
Ok something weird has happened. When i wrote the original post i had tried to pay for something on ebay using paypal. I have since received the item i bought and the seller has confirmed payment and even written they have received such payment. However no money has left my account, not one penny. it’s been about a week so maybe it’s taking a bit longer to process but usually it’s cleared by around three days. I’m feeling a bit guilty cos this bird is well safe and i don’t wanna fuck her about. :hopeless:
just talk to her and see what she sais .. but be carefull you dont give it away as she might decide to tell you you haven’t paid and if you agree and then it comes out twice …
unlike you :laugh_at:
but seriously why not mail her to confirm
Yeah i will do. I might leave it till i get paid which is in two weeks time. If it has definitely not come out then i will contact and pay her the money. As you say i don’t wanna pay twice but i definitely don’t wanna fuck her around, She’s my E cig source!
I can’t see how it’s fucked up cos i recently used paypal to buy tranzmission tickets and that went through ok. It’s all a bit french mate. :hopeless:
paypal transactions should have a unique receipt/transaction code which you should be able to reconcile to your paypal account
what I think has happened is that the transaction to the lady has gone through, but whatever BACS transaction Paypal use to get the money you owe them from your bank has fucked up….
I don’t know exactly how paypal works and what laws they operate to. To me it looks like they have fucked up somewhere along the line, such as trying to present the wrong data to your bank maybe in the BACS tape – this is however Paypal’s issue to sort out.
Companies like this don’t like to admit they have fucked up and may decide to swallow the loss (if they have paid the lady but not been able to get money from your bank account) but decide to kick you off using that bank account rather than solve the problem at their end.
You could ask your bank if there have been any disputed or rejected transactions from Paypal and the reason for them. With online trading its not uncommon for merchants (such as paypals) systems to just reject transactions if they are overloaded without them even getting to the bank, but again the companies don’t want to admit there are any issues/risks with their payment system.

I think you may be on to something there GL, Ill ring my bank in the morning and ask em, If it is a paypal fuck up then i shall stay quiet and keep the money! I’m in the process of verifying my card again with PP just in case though. Cheers mate
u been purchasing gimp costumes off ebay again eh? typical
Aye i have but the good news is I got one for you as well.
ive always wanted one!!! but my carer says im not allowed
Earlier I rang my bank up and they can’t see any problems with my account and they inform me that it’s a paypal issue. What takes the piss is whilst in the process of verifying my card, paypal tried to take the money again and while the card gets verified you are temporarily blocked. I got another email from Paypal informing me my card has been rejected and i should inform my bank. WTF is going on, This is getting slightly annoying now. :mkay:
