Surely an inflatable hippo would have legs not arms? Otherwise it’s a fucked up massive mutant amphibious slug that packs one hell of a punch!

There’s girls I know locally on POF and similar profiles their profiles and lifestyle choices are nothing like reality, I suspect its a “idealised” lifestyle folk want to put across as they think it will attract partners.

A lot of girls round my way even if they were (or even are!) ravers don’t want a drug user for a long term partner because they have had bad experiences before – comedowns tend not to do relationships much good. Though in hindsight unless you really do like EDM and the lifestyles associated with it it would make sense to keep the profile on POF and not even use a site like this, as prospective partners and even people in relationships now spend a lot of time googling for info on each other….

You may also want to consider your youth. If your only 19 then you still have plenty to learn about yourself let alone women, you most likely have several failed relationships and a lot of learning ahead of you before you find ‘the one’. I’m deeply in love with my current gf and I can see us possibly being life long partners but I frequently remind myself to remain realistic (not cynical, just keeping my head out the clouds). After all I’m only 24 and still young. Plus my partner is 18years my senior, what I’m saying is try not to plan too much cos you never know what problems and opportunities life has in store for you.

Good luck with that. And behind by who’s standards? Everybody else’s, screw that. You should go at your own pace, crumbling to peer pressure may get you a few awkward shags but it won’t teach you anything if you’re not ready. If you didn’t feel ready til now that’s fine. How are you when it comes to talking to girls in real life? Talking from behind a screen is a lot easier and you may of unknowingly employed this as a defense mechanism if you find face to face contact challenging. You’d hate to freeze when actually meeting up with someone you’ve been confidently talking to online.

I’ve met girls in person from dating sites and I’ve never frozen, probably because I’ve gotten comfortable talking to her. And in real life I can’t just walk up to an eligible stranger, I have to be in some kind of social setting where I can get to know the girls in a comfortable place, I only talk to girls where I feel the most comfortable, camp was good until I got too old to attend 🙁 , dance clubs are good too (not afraid of talking to girls there) I enjoy dancing but I haven’t found the courage to go yet, but I’m defiantly going to go on valentines day if I’m still single (beats sitting around the house alone), but I’m working out some deals right now so we’ll see.
