have never understood why people who suffer from anxiety take anti anxiety drugs that make there illness even worse when the drugs ware off. its like giving depressed people mdma for short term relief of their sadness. shooting themselves in the foot

I know what you mean but i think the theory behind it is that they give these anti anxiety drugs out as a short term fix whilst they use other treatments/therapies to bring the anxiety down in the long run so when they finally come off the meds they’re ok or okish. Thats the theory…. in practice ….. rarely works and just makes shit worse!!

oh, i only take very small amounts, and it doest get me high, it just helps me through the day. i would rather not take benzoz at all but the side effects i felt coming off nitrazepam were like going to hell and back for well over a week. i didnt sleep much and didnt really eat much.
i was surviving on stromg vitamin b pills and water for that time. i hope im over the worst of it know though
