more multicultural Eurogeese (these hybrids are increasingly common across the EU – Canada geese are smart and realise that it is a long way to fly to start a family when there are already geese in the countries they end up in). I get the impression they have become friendlier to humans as I was reading about a stray gander in Groningen who had lost his first family due to attack from fierce dogs so he was wandering the streets; a random human family not just took him in as a pet but found a new mate for him at the goose paradise and are raising the new goose family on their farm)
