didn’t expect to find this still running in 2016! (België has stopped their national teletext service, UK shut it off when analogue TV stopped although it is possible to send the data on digital TV transmissions).
Just as well as it is there as met office weather was acting up earlier – and I was just about to get on my bike but had a feeling that it is very likely to start pissing down across Northern Europe in the next few hours; and I can just as easily test this control system I am working on at home (as I have a stock of similar system components there) rather than in the plant room of a building 14 km away.
As a community art project 39 fibre glass pigs decorated by local artists have been put up in various places around town; and 30 more “piglets” that school children and community groups decorated are inside various shops.
Whole families with children (who normally would be cooped up in motor cars with the adults whinging about traffic jams) have been walking the whole 11,5 km of town to find them :laugh_at:
