not neccessarily a virus (technically it would be classified as a worm if anything anyway….but thats besides the point), theres no file/cookie/activex control involved. its just a redirect, your mate is probably infected with something for sure, but that wasnt its method for spreading.

my mates email address sent this link out to everybody in his contact list, no-ones opened it yet as we’re pretty sure its a virus. ive broken the link above so you cant accidently open it, but if you see anything like this in your email inbox delete the email, do not click on the link. if anybodys gor any more info, much appreciated. :love:

Yea i got this, same person had a facebook account set up in there name from there email address the other week.
