I am using a different computer and don’t have the same problem. :smiley-sex018: [/quote]
possible that the spacebar is intermittent on the other one; especially with laptops either something (biscuit crumbs, scraps of paper) gets below the spacebar unbalancing it on one side, or the fiddly springy bits below get sprung out of alignment (sometimes when removing another obstruction) and they do not fit together properly. In either case the spacebar can become unbalanced so it only works if tapped exactly in the middle and one side doesn’t register at all.
A small netbook running Linux I still use now and then for work (as its way lighter than a full size laptop) suffered from this problem but last week the clips below the spacebar finally got back into position. Unfortunately every keyboard has a slightly different arrangement below the spacebar so its impossible to describe exactly what is and isn’t correct alignment.

In case you’re ever out and about and you run into a cactus, take some plasters. If you manage to not run into it and instead cut it down and take it home, watch this video to learn how to prepare it.

The spacebar on that keyboard works for everything else; it is specific to PV in the full reply window.
Well, we’ll soon find out cos I intend to grab various cactii and grow the fuckers for as long as possible.
the British dude I saw on one website growing them was up North somewhere but he had access to a large greenhouse and seemed to be in his middle age, where growing ornamental plants is usually viewed as a perfectly normal and innocent hobby (he had a load of other plants such as houseplants/flowers in the greenhouse as well).
I expect you would need heaters though, which also either involves providing a safe 230V mains supply to the greenhouse, or lighting up paraffin in one of the old style heaters which you can still get (assuming this stuff doesn’t pollute the plants)
