Psybeach 2009

Saturday 13th June 2009
Approx 9:30pm til 4:30am

Over the past 4 years we have brought you a quality Psy Trance party on the bank of the river Thames and this year is no exception bringing you top quality Dj’s playing the best tunes.

As usual this is a FREE party but on the night we will be collecting donations for a very special charity. Dj EyEball aka Iain Bull and his brother Dan are taking part in the 2009 Mongol Rally embarking on an epic journey in a 1.3L Suzuki Swift from Goodwood to the capital of Mongolia, Ulaan Battaar. This is a journey of 10,000 miles and is an opportunity to raise loads of money for a good cause.

The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation is dedicated to serving children in need of emergency and long-term medical care, nutritional rehabilitation, educational opportunities, job placement and protecting those at risk of economic and sexual exploitation. The Foundation seeks to maximise the potential of each child.

If you wish to donate some spare change towards the cause we will have collection buckets on the night or you can donate via our just giving page which you can access from our website.

DIRECTIONS :-

The party will take place on the thames beach under the Festival Pier in front of the Royal Festival Hall near to Charring Cross station. 3 – 5 mins walk from the millennium eye on the south shore –

The tide goes out and leaves a golden sandy beach for us to party on (Bring your bucket and spade!) It is all above board and legal as it is common land, plus we have got a temp entertainment license to wave at the bizzies! The only restrictions we have is the tide coming back in to spoil the fun!

Sounds phat, but I always think it looks silly partying on the side of the Thames. So to protect my image, i cant go.

its a great laugh!!

and who cares if it looks silly?

brings a real varied mix of people together being open and so central –

there were an old (old!!) couple who’d obviously been to the royal festie hall for a performance and they popped down in their nice clothes / suit and had a quick dance!!!

yeah been twice and both times was amazing … gonna be out with work mates in southend (on the beach) durin the day .. but might pop along after depending on what time i get back … woop woop

You can always try Hidden if you fancy a legal night. Turn up at 1:30 / 2 in the morning and once you pass the bouncers you can sneak past the till without paying.
