a celebration of the rave/freeparty scene with some of the legends that have shaped the scene from the beginning!!
Read any history of the UK rave scene and names such as Spiral Tribe, Castlemorton, the Liberators will feature prominently. Come and party with some of those who are part of that history and continue to make history in the present!! We will also be celebrating the return of Punk Floyd – their first London gig in years!! With countless releases on Stay Up Forever, COSHH, RAW, WahWah, Smitten, responsible for the anthem “three day illegal rave party from hell”, individually and collectively their contribution to the freeparty scene is immeasurable – which is why to have all three performing together will be a very special event!! DJ AZTEK Aztek on MySpace Music – Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads– This man warrants a book never mind a few sentences!! One of the original Spiral Tribe DJs!! Spiral Tribe were a collective at the forefront of the UK rave explosion in the early 90s, putting on freeparties and festivals across the land and DJ Aztek was an integral member of these pioneers. After Castlemorton in 1992 they ventured into Europe to continue their techno-traveller mission but their influence on the UK rave scene still resonates today. Expect to hear sounds from back in the day up to the present DJ Aztek sound. A rare chance to see and hear a rave legend!!

AARON LIBERATOR DJ Aaron Liberator on MySpace Music – Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads– Aaron is one third of the legendary Liberator Djs with Chris and Julian and has been rocking dancefloors across the globe for almost 20 years with firing sets of Techno and Acid Techno. The Liberator DJs came through the North London squat party scene where they had been gaining skills making all night parties full of punks and ravers. In 1992 they teamed up with the extremely influential sound system Bedlam busting into warehouses to make some of the most chaotic free parties London had ever seen. For this party Aaron will play a special set of the techno that shaped his journey from the early 90s Bedlam soundsystem parties up to forming Stay Up Forever in 1994. Stay Up Forever (http://www.stayupforever.com) are the collective that invented the London techno sound that in their own words is “not intelligent, not from Detroit, but it’s f**kin avin it!!”, and have successfully exported the sound, scene and attitude to all corners of the world!!

ZEBEDEE Zebedee has been DJing on the underground scene for many years and is world reknowned for his hard/funky/tribal/acid tekno sets. His passion for DJing and the freeparty scene began at 16, living with a crew called Rainbow tribe. After helping run a stall at a Tribal Energy night at the Rocket, Zeb soon became resident of the club. By the mid 90s he had formed underground tekno system the Restless Natives. Appearing nationwide and internationally by this time at promotions such as Pendragon, Escape from Samsara, Havok, Eurobeat, Homegrown, international bookings followed, and Zeb launched his own legendary night Trancentral which lasted till 2001. By now running his own label Organgrinder (releasing tunes with Geezer, Gizelle, Lawrie Immersion), Zebedee continued touring all over the world, while always remaining true to the freeparty spirit. A freeparty legend!

DJ BIRINIGHT djbirinight – Tracks – SoundCloud– A hugely experienced DJ, initially in Portugal and then London. As resident DJ with Every1sound and Techno Sessions via famous London venues such as the Fridge, SE1, Hidden, Jamm, through to many booming warehouses Birinight has seen it all over the years, a techno DJ for every occasion, always with a few surprises in his sets, come and see what he serves up this time!!

ACID STEVE MySpace – aCiD sTeVe – 100 – Male – London, UK – myspace.com/bringwhatyouexpecttofind – a techno DJ with roots firmly in the acid techno earth!! He has played at countless warehouse/squatparties for a number of techno soundsystems including Every1sound, Malfaiteurs, Hype, Manik. Currently a resident for Stay Up Forever’s flagship night Nuclear Free Zone which takes place each month at London’s legendary 414 club in Brixton. He is the promoter of Vote Techno Party and will be playing a typical upfront squatparty set!!

NEBULA 2 Nebula2 on MySpace Music – Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads – Nebula 2 first came to light back in 1991 with one of the rave generations all time classic tunes called The Seance which was released on Reinforced Records. Nebula’s first promotion was Return To Kool Kat in 1992. Dj’s Kemistry & Storm, MRB, Goldie, Shot 1, Coz, Cutz, Expression & Holocaust. Live PA’s 4 Hero, Manix & Rufige Kru. They set up a label called Celestial Records with A Guy Called Gerald in Manchester. Their first release The Positive EP was a collaboration between Joe & Mark Shotter, Richard McCormack & Tony Thomas who joined Nebula 2 along with Paul Smith. The next phase was of course a brief step in the world of drum & bass. Nebula produced several records for Mickey Finn’s Urban Takeover & along side MC Magika won the Diesel Nu-Music 2000 award for best break-beat artist (Voted by) Moving Shadow records.

LOUISE+1 Louise +1 on MySpace Music – Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads – Louise+1 has built up a solid reputation as an innovative, cutting edge DJ within the UK underground scene over the past 15 years. Originally starting off playing for the London based squat sound system “Shtonka”, she quickly progressed to playing for a number of different promotions and is the person behind the hugely successful ReRaveAll night which showcased artists such as Chase & Status, Break and Top Buzz. Louise is a highly versitaile DJ playing Old Skool Hardcore, Jungle, Techno, Acid House and Dubstep.

MAXX VINYL (Raindance) http://www.maxxvinyl.com Maxx Vinyl is an old skool rave veteran who’s been playing Moondances, Raindances, illegal raves and legal festivals since the second summer of love and the orbital heydey of the ecstasy rave. Maxx Vinyl is a proper Underground Oldskool DJ, highly talented, who plays everything from Acid House to Jungle. Currently plays at Kin Hardcore and Epikdemik.

NICKY DUNGEONS Nicky Dungeons on MySpace Music – Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads – In the early Dungeons years 88-90 nearly every top DJ played at the Dungeons. (Be it Linden C, Ellis Dee Carl Cox, MrC Eddie Richards, Fabio + Groove Rider, Rhythm Doctor, Colin Favour Seduction etc.) Throughout the 90s Nicky played on and off under different names (Nicky D, Mr Dangerous and lately Nicky Dungeons) and played at a host of different venues (Dungeons, Camden, Bagley’s, Mass) Nicky has been playing up and down the country playing at events like Retro Sonics, Epidemiks, Slammers, Earthquake and N-JOY to name but a few.

GAND (Bangface) – One of the new kids on the rave block, Gand is quickly establishing himself on London’s underground scene with his own take on early 90s jungle/hardcore, has already graced the decks at Bangface, Scumoween and a number of squatparty soundsystems. One to watch for the future!!

BRIXTON HATTER – resident of the successful old-skool night “Batch” where he played alongside Colin Dale, Brixton Hatter will set the ball rolling for 2010 A Rave Odyssey with a mixture of Acid House and old Skool!!

Getting involved into the Bogotá techno music scene, she started mixing her own loops in the underground parties.
