I didn’t wash my hair for over 2yrs (about 12yrs ago) – tried to get dreads coz it was all the rage back then…just got greasy then smelled of old sheep’s piss. I was told it would clean itself naturally after a while – lies!! It just reaches a point then doesn’t get any worse.

I couldn’t afford lynx at the time – that was posh back then – some of my mates were using patchouli oil….feckin hippies – gimme sheep piss any day.

not sure I’d cope with it these days – I persisted back then coz I thought it was cool…obviously it wasn’t!

I showered with a bucket outside for 6 months – quite liberating…although it wasn’t in the UK, and I hear it’s getting a bit nippy over there now!

im starting to hate the fake dreads girls put in now, alot of mates are doing it and the amount of times were sat around waiting for one of em to ‘just gonna quickly put my dreads in’

it takes fuckin ages, always late going out cos someone decides an hour before they wanna spend 2 hours putting a load of shit into their hair
