Ok the kids involved in this are pretty stupid yeh. This is just a lads party that got out of hand…….Mail seriously winds me up!!!
“This should be a warning to anyone who considers organising an event of this nature…” …NOT TO USE FUCKING FACEBOOK!
I think we had a thread on this back in March. TBH it is the national media blowing it out of all proportion. The lad was stupid and greedy (charging his friends a fairly substantial sum to attend the event!) but I think that everyone, including TVP, dealt with the aftermath in a sensible manner – and his penalty (a formal Caution and being made to forfeit his profits to pay for the damaged hall) was proportionate…
You could well be right GL. I misread the date:love:
“Elders at the Church of the Servant King were told the event was a quiet family party, not a teenage rave”
haha that line makes me chuckle
but to be honest, theres no problem with the party it was the damage.. they should have invited more sensible people and cleared up! shame on them
He said: ‘When I got the phone call at 9pm I arrived at the church to find several police vans, with hundreds of teenagers in the hall listening to club music.’
OH MY GOODNESS…. NOT CLUB MUSIC!
‘I’m not angry with the organiser, just sad that the night wasn’t booked properly. We would love to support youth events but they have to be done safely.’
fair play to the bible bashers tbh, as i said if they took care of the venue and didnt invite titheads it wouldnt have been blown apart… infact it wouldnt actually be in the news at all because the never publish anything good lol
I love the Daily Mail, Great paper.
people were doing similar in East Anglia years before him (and created the same amount of backlash….)
the only positive thing was that he paid up for the damage – but would he had done so had the feds not got involved?
all that has happened now is if someone Josh’s age wanted to do a party properly the hall committees won’t allow it as the trust has already been permanently broken…

🙁
