The worst film I have ever seen – supposedly in the same vain as Sin City – was The Spirit (with Samual L Jackson).

    The Spirit=rotten tomato

It was so bad it pushed into new boundaries of rotten tomato-ness, and was in that sense a classic.

Oh joy. I just bought it on Blu-Ray. Was going to enjoy that later… sounds like I wont.

The Young Poisoner’s Handbook is a great film, not sure if its very easy to get hold of though.

Two recent films also in the same vein as Sin City are:

    Jack Says

    &

    Jack Said

One has Mike Reid, the other has Danny Dyer. Both are supposed to be quite good.

Another Quentin Tarrintino movie I want to watch is Hell Ride

    Very bad reviews also.

I don’t tend to read reviews, and if I do I tend to take them with a pinch of salt.

I don’t buy a lot of blu-ray though because of the price. Thought I’d buy the spirit on Blu-Ray as the visuals and sound would prob benefit. So I’ll be a bit gutted if it is a pile of shit. £3 I can live with when buying a shit film on DVD.

There is no accounting for personal taste and all that..

Heard pretty bad reviews about this, some friends of mine went to see it and told me they couldn’t understand it at all. Me and my daughter fancied seeing it but decided not to waste our money.
Let me know what you think.

couldnt find any where with it showing.. so saw the soloist, which was good

I don’t tend to side with reviewers but there is a brilliant critic who works for the Daily Mail (omfg not the daily mail lol) called Christopher Tookey and the man is a genius.

If he slates a film then it is usually fucking brilliant. Most films i love he hates so if you ever read his column and he hates the film he is reviewing then you should watch that film.

    You’ll bloody love it.

Don’t do it… it’s shite. Acting is a load of bollox. It was the first film I EVER stopped before I finished it.

But hey, if you do watch it, let me know what thought : )
