Hi, i’m thinking of recording from my green phono port on my laptop, straight into the mic port on my laptop, and thus recording a song i made on my laptop (l haven’t got the upgraded version of the music program i’m using so i can’t output a WAV of the song).

Will my laptop explode if i do this? Genuine replies only please (reason’s obvious lolol)

short answer:yes it will explode

long answer: no it will feed back, basically what you wanna do is record ur output and by this u need to download a program called cool edit pro or any good recording program and just choose the recording port as the output,

i use a free program called wavepad. it simply records any sound coming through your speakers whether its from the internet or from another program.
