Working on a story about dealing and selling heroin, and would love to get a dealer or several dealers to talk about their personal experiences. Non-judgmental, confidential, and without a question would hide faces.
The point is to get the other side of the epidemic — the one not often reported. Many stories have already been done on addiction and addicts, but understandably, it’s not easy getting the other side — especially on-camera.
Why do dealers continue to live the life? What’s it like? What are the particular struggles and hardships? How is it to have a family and be a dealer, always in fear? How is it a vicious cycle? Let’s change the conversation, and give a 3-dimensional personality to dealers.
