Alm ost punched a guy tonight for staring and my cousin on her 30th, i saw him look at her arse and wanted to punch him but my sis seen and stopped me, damn I wanted to punch him
or u could just forgive him and remember that ur a guy too?
to be fair he didn’t actually punch him and accepted his sisters advice. if I went to townie clubs I would be just as likely to do that if it were the other way round (as my sister is married and my cousin (who coincidentally had a birthday this week) is single but perfectly capable of working out who is a decent bloke from a creep (she has high standards)).
And I might not even have been drunk but staying sober and on guard because I felt uncomfortable being there in the first place. But my sister and cousin live 150 miles away and don’t like townie clubs. I don’t think my cousin even drinks…
Anyway no violence actually occurred is just as well as it really doesn’t look good to go up before the beak for that sort of stupidity. Some Asian lad round Luton beat up another lad for looking at his sister (and robbed his blackberry) and not only did he get prison, he was struck off from becoming a trainee accountant as you need a clear CRB or one without violent crimes for that.
I could of really done with some weed last night to chill me out, not a violent person by nature but booze can bring out the worst in me in certain circumstances, lucky my sis knows the signs, seen me and stopped me, that guy had no idea how close he came to getting his nose spread all over his face just for doing what drunk guys do ( checking out a pretty girl in lecherous way ).
Amazingly no real hangover from a big of a binge, but not driving today, pretty sure I would still be over the limit
in both UK and NL the authorities have fucked things up by reluctantly accepting they are unable to totally stop party stimulant drugs but trying to push folk back to alcohol (to get tax revenue to recover the costs of the night time economy) so of course people at events combine both.
I read the Dutch forum partyflock.nl fairly often as well as other Dutch news sites and its clear their entertainment industry is suffering from violent incidents caused by this combination but their scene is bigger and their event managers and culture means that idiotic behaviour is punished more quickly so it doesn’t spoil everyones enjoyment.
here in EA the problem was allowed to fester and now the authorities have swung to the other extreme by blocking nearly everything (even townie clubs have closed recently).
when i go out clubbing with my girl (who was on here but now gettin a job), like to glade we’re in the psytrance bit and she gets a bit bored of it so when i go out i often find her cuddling some guy with her arm across his chest or whatever… i just leave them to it, go back to the music and collect her if its time to move on, lol. at glade one night she was the same guy for hours outside liquid and i came out and he looked so awkward as they were cuddling, was so funny, but i didnt mind, he was helping me out cos the music was banging and she was bored of it and it was kinda obvious he was interested, but that just made it more umm interesting… then at the end we were all friends and went back and got on some mxe before bed… and lived happily ever after… (but not together lol, no menage a trois)
