did ths once quite a while ago, fuckin horrible sickly drunk too much and smoke a killa bifta kinda feelin. wont be doin it again and would not recommend anyone to either.

One word: WOW. I cannot believe you just suggested ‘fly agaric’ aka Amanitas, a fucking deleriant, as a safer means to get high than DXM. Firstly, anything can dangerous when used it with ignorance, having said this, Amanitas are just as dangerous if not more (go to the woods and pick the wrong mushroom and you will violently vomit and shit until you die a slow poisoned death). I suggest: Robotussin Extra Strength. If you’re not the type to handle tasting sirup, you can get the gel caps and depending on how much of a mind fuck you’re looking for you can reach the lower 2 plateaus with around a 350mg-450mg dose.

If you haven’t done DXM before I certainly don’t suggest trying to reach the 3rd or 4th plateau (which I get to at around a 900mg dose) until you know your general tolerance level to the drug (every one is different, I always start low working my way up the ladder) .

Beware this is not a drug to be underestimated.

The fact that it’s legally available does not make it safe!

absolutely correct; some of the legal ones are far more dangerous than some of the illegal ones
nicotine [one of the most toxic contact poisons in the world] springs to mind as does methadone[more toxic than the heroin it replaces] and paracetamol [overdose destroys your organs and no one can do anything except watch you die in agony after your body has absorbed it]

treat ALL drugs with caution and if you are going to take something for a buzz/high/kicks please be sure to do your homework on it and have a buddy to do it with in case something goes wrong and you need assistance

ideally the buddy should be a trusted mate and able to deal calmly with any crisis and know what to expect

k thanx for all ur advice peps im def gunna take heedn get more clued up on it b4 i try. iv plenty experience wit other rugs n have a weak spot for nethin trippy,:crazy_fre cid is my rug of choice by far but im always lookin to explore new buzz’s n this 1 sounds like it cud b rite up my street!!

I’ve been looking a bit into this. Check out the robitussin pastilles that they do on this site. They contain 7.5mg of dextromethorphan hydrobromide.

The rest of the ingredients just look like sweetners etc to me and no nasties in there.

Can anyone confirm this?

Each pastille contains:

Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 7.5 mg

Also contains: Levomenthol, Acesulphame Potassium, Cherry Flavour, Natural Flavours, Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Oil, Beeswax, Purified Water, Gelatin, Dimethyl Siloxane, Mono and Di Glycerides, Methylcellulose, Polyethlene Glycol Stearate, Xanthan Gum, Benzoic Acid, Polyethylene Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Maltitol, Sorbitol, Amaranth.

thats the active ingredient dextromethropan and in order separated by commas as above:

local anaesthetic, sweetener, flavouring [prob synthetic], flavours [likely nature identical], an alcohol, oil, binding agent , water, gelling agent, an oil, oil derivatives, bulking agent, oil, binding agent, preservative, oil, preservative, sweetener, sweetener, probable bulking agent

be aware that most of the oils are probably acting as preservatives and binding agents in this formula though some of them taste sweet too:crazy_fre

none of these ingredients are toxic in small quantites as they have had to pass FDA licensing and most have been around for a while

have a read through the thread, i think how much you take depends on your body weight. have a look at http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/ before you have a go and be carefull if your gonna go ahead.

if you want to get twisted off tussin drink a bottle and smoke some weed. that brings it to a whole new level.. i cant get high off of it anymore unless i smoke weed with it, its pretty cool.
