and what is said nose powder?
wow another thread about k. well done.
welcome to pv by the way:wink:
they use that stuff in India for perfuming soap – as few years back my nan put a bar of such soap in the Christmas parcel she sent to my family from Malaysia (she is a Tamil Indian) – it was around the time the ridgeway raves were at their height and there was litres of that K going around!
so that smell always reminded me of random times on K (when they were good times in the initial honeymoon period of any drug) – I never did let on to my mum why I found a bar of soap so amusing..
ketalar and ketamax ftw lol
I think the idea of the rose water was to fox the sniffer dogs. there is no other good reason to add this nasty chemical to the K.
I remember it being harsh on the nose and even saying “what the fuck is this? bangalore’s finest toilet cleaner?”
confusion powder strikes again!

coving up smells doesn’t stop sniffer dogs they smell the individual smells unlike us. Well that’s what I was always told anyway’s, not being a world class heroin smuggler I cant know for sure 😉

people do actually import rose water for cooking, as well as other uses so i think it was just a way of sticking it in something legit that the cops wouldnt think contained drugs. not anything to do with sniffer dogs afaik.
after watching a documentary and reading some real crime books last year im pretty sure using some things can throw the dogs off the scent. coffee grounds and black pepper was what the documetary showed…

my aunt had a bottle of the stuff (which came from Southall) although TBH it didn’t smell that much like the ketamine with the “rose water” added… but the bar of soap (marked Sandalwood) certainly did…
it is definitely an “indian/South Asian” sort of perfume so would go relatively unnoticed in goods from that country. However these days Indian feds are much more clued up, they started getting on top when the local youths also started having raves…

I know Howard Marks used to seal things in wax and welded steel drums (lots of layers of protection type thing), and have different people packing different bits so that they never touched the drugs etc He also hid some pot in Pink Flloyds speakers if he is to be believed haha!
Perhaps if there’s a very overpowering smell it does cover it up, we need a smuggler! I will nip down to the cove and see if I can find one.

An air tight bag within an air tight bag and coffee in the middle.
