round here the main rationale of injecting users is to get as much value out of the drug. Incidentally just a few months after younger folk started injecting (and presumably taking advantage of needle exchanges etc) the authorities started the full on zero tolerance campaign on parties where they started confiscating and crushing rigs and sending people to prison. Given that the feds already had certain intelligence on how the scene was being funded I don’t think the two developments were simply coincidences.

yeah one guy told me that from IMing k you get an experience which cannot be achieved through snorting and told me to use that use if i wanted to get the full benefit from k… don’t really want to stick a needle in me but if my friends did that sort of thing i could see myself trying it which isn’t a very nice thought.

yeah thats exactly what happened, across a group of users in a small town (population only 14 000) called Stowmarket which is up the road from me (in fact I could cycle to it from where I am now in just 30 mins) increasingly started injecting to make the most of their supplies. One started, others followed through peer pressure.

OK they did the “right” thing health-wise and got the needles from clean sources off drugs charity type places, but these charities notify the NHS and Old Bill that there is a increase in injecting K users (its how they get their funding!), and its not rocket science for the feds to work out that the use of this drug is linked to the rave scene..

i can see the use of a needle being very appealing ritual wise as most people who use them speak of how amazing it is seeing the blood draw back etc…

I know quite a few people with needle fixation – who despite being clean are using pins to draw blood etc – they say it may be a form of self harm – I dont know enough about it to comment

but it is really interesting talking to people who are totally fixated by the ritual and process – and its so individual

i must admit – totally not on the same level but when i stopped smoking weed – I missed skinning up so much – and still do to a point – what….14+ yrs later that I take any opportunity to .. just really enjoy the building….]]and bloody good at it ‘P

ah yes!! and a few for our lovley mushied up neighbours – …. that may have been beatherder….

I could roll before I smoked as well… as at 13 there was no way I was putting that ‘shit’ in my body :laugh_at::laugh_at: age 14 it was a different story!!!

I had very wonderful / awful older siblings that apart from the fun have put me through hell….. but I like to think of the fun – its so much healthier 🙂
