I know Salvia is legal in the UK and I have a few questions regarding it:

I’ve done marijuana before and some Mkat, but that’s it.
I was wanting to try something a little different, but not dangerous.

My first question is, what are the dangers of smoking Salvia? Besides the obvious ‘it damages with your lungs’.
My 2nd question: What are the effects of it, and what is the high like?
Finally… how would I get hold of it? – Is this the right stuff that I want to be growing? Sage seeds Green leaved salvia – 50 seeds: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors
Also, I know that it’s legal, but is it illegal to grow it? Even if it’s not intended on being used for human consumption?

It’s horrible stuff, you’ll leave the room for a few minits (5-10 mby) and be in some horrible scary place (assuming you smoke it). You need to smoke the extract to get anything off of it as you litteraly have to smoke more then your lungs can fit in of the leaves so it’s totally pointless. Imo it’s totally pointless anyway, I and 95% of the people I know who’ve tried it hate it with a passion.

I think the only reason it’s still legal, being such a strong powered hallucinogen, is that because it’s sooo horrible hardly anyone smokes it more then once or twice and there’s no reason to waste time making it illegal as there’s not actually a problem with it as a drug cos no one wants to do it.

I did salvia twice in the same night, consecutively…..DONT DO IT!!!! its not worth the insane level of brain rape and possibility of ending up in pergitory

No, you need salvia divinorum, not just plain sage (salvia relates to the sage family). I also believe it doesn’t grow from a seed, so you’ll need to get a cutting and grow it from that, and it’s legal to grow over here… how are they going to know if it’s intended for human consumption, or whether you just thought it looked good in your garden? 🙂

Pretty sure the seed link they posted on amazon was plain sage tho, so if you’re buying it from a garden centre (as opposed to a dealer) the distinction is important! 😉

It’s strange how some people love it but most (at least who I’ve spoken to) really don’t like it. I think that because of how horrible of an experience you can have on it it’d not be worth trying to see if you did happen to enjoy it, but then again it’s up to you if you wanna risk it.
