Coincidentally I was thinking about the US “teen movies” that were popular back around the same time and until late 1990s/early 2000s (maybe they are still made – I quit watching films around the same time as stopping regularly smoking cannabis)
in Europe we did wonder how young Americans could afford motor cars to drive to and from high school (but seemed to remain in there until they were 30); hackers always had computers that even local businesses could barely afford as well as modems / telephone lines in their own bedrooms and both boys and girls our age had all sorts of audio visual equipment etc…
As unfortunate as friskys experience was (most likely rough pharms with a laxative effect were used to bulk out poor quality party drugs) it (and the way it is written) did remind me of a scene from one of these films and made me laugh like hell :laugh_at:
