seems like a dumb action even by cop standards TBH! Squatters might take drugs and protest and some may even shoplift or burgle, but I’ve never known a genuine squat to harbour violent criminals..

I do wonder if some little scrote gave your squat as a bail address, a slack cop didn’t check this out and said scrote has reoffended on bail and done a runner – so they are doing this in the hope the cops don’t look like complete muppets..

unfortunately once the cops have been tasked to attend a place to get evidence (even with sketchy information) they will jump on it straight away.. the same could (and sometimes does) happen to shared “party” houses where a lot of young people congregate…

whats more annoying is in both your local incident and scumoween the robbing little scrotes have won both times, they got to make the cops look silly and also to rob someone of their property….

that said if they really want to check out the squat there’s a load of laws they can use anyway because of the links with drug culture and protesting…. also when I went back to living at home more and calmed down from partying I still helped out squatters with leccy etc for a few months, OB were convinced I was dealing as well and watched me for some considerable time until it was obvious this was not the case (had a perfectly decent job in a public sector environmental organisation!)

TBH the London party numbers are all over the place and have been for some time… until this event the met hardly seemed to be bothering with stopping free parties..
