they have now released record of proccedings from I think around the 1670’s to 1840’s
I’ve not been on it much but did look up my surname (that is quite unusual) and only got 5 hits:
one sentance to death for theft
was indicted for stealing two linen gowns, value 10 s. a linen bed gown, value 2 s. a silk and stuff gown, value 10 s. a blue silk petticoat, value 18 s. a white dimity petticoat, value 3 s. two flannel petticoats, value 2 s. a scarlet cloth cardinal, value 5 s. six linen shifts, value 8 s. four check linen aprons, value 3 s. four linen handkerchiefs, value 3 s. two pair of worsted stockings, value 2 s. and two pair of cotton stockings, value 3 s. the property of ***** , spinster, in the dwelling……….

and another :
was indicted for stealing a pair of scales and weights, value six shillings, eight guineas, twelve half guineas, and 4 l. 9 s. in money numbered, the property of ********, privily and secretly from the person of the said ****** , May 23d. NOT GUILTY .

murder, grand larcenary, pick pockets, highway robbery and treason,
but her name is really common
