Think of all substances like this, as no one is physically addicted to heroin on their first use either,

I know I’m gonna sound like a broken record but if you are seriously interested in the harm reduction side of substances – which you sound like you are – and want to be informed – read prof nutts drugs without the hot air, very informative compelling reading, and has a chapter on cocaine that I found enlightening

Cocaine – it depends. Sometimes you might be unlucky and get some really shit stuff that is most likely caffeine and speed which just makes you feel a bit scatty and odd. But sometimes you might stumble across some right proper columbian marching power and corrrrrrrrrrrrrr fucking hell that shit is quality.
