Pretty flashy learner ride with the old Mito Moonie:wink:
I almost brouygh ab RF900 myself they seem like great value since they seem more than a little under rated. Whats it like ?
It’s a Prima actually, the 50cc version 😉
Well actually, it’s a DerbiGPR50 with 82cc bore kit, under some Prima fairings, but you get my point :laugh_at:
RF is sweet, good on fuel, comfy for a pillion for miles, happy to sit at 100+ all day, couldn’t ask for more tbh. The brakes are way too savage for day to day riding though, although that’s after coming from an ’86 FZ750, which was probably so shoddy it just seems like a big jump.
have a 00,megane van as a daily driver grand on the diesel and handy 4 carryin me tools around , got a minter of a 1990 merc 190 the other day , gonna put a 2.5 or 3 litre in it, a limit slip diff , lower it and a tasty set of rims and tax and insure it as a classic probably fit a full stainless exhaust system and a janspeed back box and eventually a big fuck off sound system when i have the money

get the forks replaced on it if you get one, the forks are like tooth picks, not up to the job at all. if poss try and get GSF600N (bandit) forks fitted, you’ll have LOADS more front end feel it does decide to wash out on you…..plus it’ll look burly as well

You can’t make a GSXR400 look burly haha
