  • it dont dry out, so if you going to grow and blend your own bacco you might want to check out some natural preserving techniques, time matters to most tobaccos, thats why the big companys use chemical coveringtech to speed up things and make all taste the same as it did the year before but they loose the matter of time, the oils need to change slowly and after all natural fermenting and drying you can put it in a box, the bacco does mature good in a box due to very, very slow oxidation therefore it got the time that will balance things

cans of bitter!? if I had a grave I would be turning in it ;p

Adnams (outside a pub) is still pasteurised and has extra CO2 added anyway whether delivered in bottles or cans; plus the bottle bank on my estate is some distance away and in my area (unlike SE England) blue bins do not accept glass (they even put a warning sticker on mine once).

I do enjoy beer in bottles but feel guilty about the bottles ending up in the normal trash (and possibly landfill)…

I know what you mean about the bottles, I recently started getting everything in bottles as the metallic taste of cans was driving me mad. But now I have so many bottles and its more expensive so I think I might have to switch back. Seems like a lot of material just to hold a small amount of liquid, but then it is nicer.

Do you know why you dont get sediment anymore? spitfire used to have sediment in it when I was a kid, a few of the bitters did. But no hope of finding it now 🙁

proper bottle conditioned ale (with live yeast/sediment) is sold at a premium price these days. Also it has to be sold within date code or there is a risk of getting a bad bottle. same as how a cask has to be drunk within a certain time… your average shop owner isn’t going to want to risk dealing with the hassle of returns/refunds..

you can buy it online or from specialist off licenses…

A tobacco pipe or a pipe as it’s popularly known is a device that is specifically designed to smoke tobacco. It’s made up of a bowl for tobacco, and a mouthpiece where you puff from. The pipe’s bowl is usually made of briar wood, corncob, meerschaum or clay. The bowl can also be made from olive, cherry, soapstone, catlinite, and even bog-wood—although to a smaller extent. The pipes range from simple machine-made briar models to sophisticated pipes made by renowned pipe makers. Whether you want to buy a simple or a sophisticated tobacco pipe it’s paramount that you consider buying wholesale tobacco pipes. This is because these pipes tend to be cheaper thus saving you plenty of money.

Smoke it one-two times a day, really great expirience compare to cigarettes. And I think its not that dangerous for health (though not sure)
