    “The number of people being taken to hospital with heart attacks in Scotland has fallen significantly since the smoking ban was introduced, the most detailed study into the impact of the measure has revealed. Researchers found a 17% drop in the number of people admitted for heart attacks in the year since the ban came into force, compared with an average 3% reduction a year over the previous decade. The reduction was most marked among non-smokers, with a 20% fall, compared with a 14% drop among smokers”.

    pubs around here are properly sufferin for it though

    that combined with rising alcohol tax

    and dancefloors have no atmosphere cos everyone is outside

    Just been to spain an there they have the anti smoking law. only difference is the premises can choose to be smoking or non. bollocks to this blanket ban rubbish….

    my local does the same thing when only locals are in, i suspect a helluva lot of pubs do it, specially rural.

    jus got back, didn’t even know there was a law, nowhere we went had opted for it, can’t imagine any place down there doing so

    I had the same experience. think i went to one nosmoke place. where were you?

    yeah – there’s a story about a boy called tarifan – he was driven mad by the wind

    it is stunning, s’got the med on one side, the atlantic on the other and Morocco looms HUGE in the not-so-distance

    if you go into pictures there’s an album titled ‘newest’ on the left hand side

    i don’t have a place, lived there for a while a few years ago, was visiting friends who moved back in november

    price? depends what you want, you can happily live in a vehicle, renting’s bout the same as here, not sure bout buying

    wine is cheap cheap cheap

    and its not the costa

    buying wasn’t even an option!… if rents same as here then that probly not either! sounds lot more expensive than places inland, but then ur by the sea so…
    still, your pics make me feel like i should check it sometime… cheers!

    like you say on the coast will be expensive but there’s loadsa little fincas inland aways, always cheaper and beautful spanish wasteland countryside if you know what i mean

    am seriously thinkin bout movin back at some point, gonna be a coupla years at least tho
