mate its a whole new world of excitement! and a whole new world of trying to calculate sobering up and legal driving whilst going through a poliece roadblock. Fucking fun though. Obiviously idealy its designated driver time but most rely on sobering up in the morrow.
Might as well tell this little story, free party localy (15 mins down the road). Turns out its on MOD land. Turns out that night its a rather large training exercise for the local army lads (and god knows who else). They tell me to drive the hell off their land. I do, then turn around at roundabout and re-enter land. Find rave, we all get messy (apart from me, I have a cautious nature believe it or not). 30 mins later all hell brakes lose all OB and the army turn up to get rid of us. We all had to go through a checkpoint and they searched about half the cars.
My mate had passed his test the week before. He had just dropped a fair bit of mandy. Came very close to losing his licence.
Anyways long story short most people got away with it but said new driver wont drive again for free partys. A few people lost their licences and all in all it was a fuck load of hassle (fucking amazing after party round some mates flat mind).
Dont mean to patronise or anything like that, but be fucking careful once you start driving to raves. A bright torch in your eyes and suddenly it can be bye bye licence time (even if you feel fine to drive and what not).
And losing a licence is both vastly expensive and a lot of hassel.
