Hiya

I know it’s lame to ask where the party is at but really need a good time before i’m too old to do it anymore! It’s me burfday end of Sept and all i wanna do is dance till dawn like the old days. Please can someone hook me up to some pounding pounding techno music. London Sept 2010 xx

get to some legal nights around london, and meet people, thats the best way. or stick around on here, end of septembers not far off though!

Nice one thanks.

Only problem is i’ve only got a one night pass to play out!

I’ve just discovered this site and think it’s pretty cool so will take your advice and hang about and see if anyone can help me out. I’ve no idea how it works mind – gather the PM’s aren’t all that (quite looking forward to getting one though!)

I’d take a legal night if i really had to but can’t find a good un – i’m bound to end up somewhere where there’s simply not enough bpm’s to quench me thirst!

By the way, sorry if it’s your thing but can anyone explain ‘minimal techno’?
Should those two words actually be used together…

Minimal techo is beauty!!! IMO

Frederico franchi – Drugstore

Kanio – Sambucca

It’s minimalistic music, lacks fundamental chord progression.

Probably not enough BPM for you though, 128 a min.

I can listen to minimal tech at home chilling (alltho prefer to listen to other stuff at home tbh).. but I’d not listen to it out … was trying to find a techno night when I was up in leeds and some dick pointed me in the direction of this minimal tech place .. I was expecting some fucking thumps and after paing like £20 or something stupid like that on the door I was greated with some plinks and plonks but no thumps GAAA!!! Was fucking WELL pissed off when I got in there … had two drinks (min) and left!

Not that I don’t like it … just It doesn’t make me wanna dance too much (kinda defeats the object of dance music imo)

Minimal breaks is a bit better then minimal tech imo psy breaks are the shit tho! dance all night to that shit 😀

mmm so i checked out the player thanks Process, it’s alriiiight but i need the big highs, minimal just don’t seem to go anywhere… Soz Poly!

Checked out club 414 too, ta Agent 15. It looks great and may well end up there then.

I’m out on Sat 18th Sept, do ya reckon their Prime time night with Jamie Tennant will be any fun. It’s listed as bouncy and hard house..!! Not sure it’s gonna be enough but hey it’s all i got!

So had a look at PSY breaks as well, ta DaftFader. Listened to Broken Robot tracks and yeah i was nearly there… up up up and then.. it just didn’t kick ass. I’m really hoping i don’t have a night like yours in Leeds – lol. That’s so typical – most clubs are shit, they make out they’re all that but usually just bland filler to make some bucks.

If i had me ipod on tanking it up the road i’d be lovin say, Vitalic or Digitalism or Laurent etc… Ain’t there nobody playing them type a tunes anymore?

If anyone can tell me anywhere else i can get all euphoric that would be super cool cos it’s only next week away.

You’re more likely to get funky house or minimal tech there afaik (they were palying funky house when i went b4) – Alltho it as allways at least somewhat depends on what night is on. (best to check this stuff online b4 you decide where you’re gonig)

Got it – Acid Steve is where it’s at for techno – thanks

Just can’t do it tonight, boo looks like that was the one for Sept!!

So i’ve sent him an email to see if he’s coming back again ..

will keep on searching – feeling like a ‘rave chaser’ ahhh

If you up for a really messy party with a usually upforit lot then cant go far wrong with the 414 , Prime Time may not be the best party down there but look what starts staright after it at 7am ! 😉 I fink you might like that!

Oh yeah , words of advice , do not hang around on cold harbour lane, go to the club , ave it , stay in there all weekend ( I have, well its felt like it. ) Just do not hang around on Cold Harbour Lane.

Sry thought that was like in a week or two (was drunk and lost all sence of time and space when i posted that lol) but 414’s banging whoevers there pretty much!
