This might be why I pick up other North European languages quickly; even their friend from Glasgow would sometimes say to them to “speak English! I can no understand ye!”

Seriously though, this man is an eejit first for taking so much and secondly for selling his story to the Daily Record. Especially with the new lass who looks like Angela Merkels younger and marginally better looking sister winning the elections and the chance of the UK being split. Last time there was the devolution and Scotland went through a stage of implementiing harsher control than England as they feared becoming a drugs tourism destination like the Netherlands is…

to be fair that is a report from the Daily Record, which I think is what the Scots read instead of the Mirror/Daily Mail. and now with the election they are going to try and stir up any potential bad news story to try and advance the UK splitting up as conflict makes more work for journalists. The laddie is still an eejit. Even after buying some new hi fi kit for myself and some more equipment for my mums telly (as she couldn’t hear the tinny small loudspeakers on the flat screen TV and I thought they sounded rough too, plus if I make the telly good and loud she can’t complain I’m making noise elsewhere 😉 ) that it was no where near £2 000 let alone £20 000 and I still had spare cash for “other fun things”.

And he’s in Scotland FFS; where currently their govt often argues with England about money for public services.

Often England sends Scotland a bill for things like the Border Force, or they send over English officers (due to not trusting the natives) who don’t know where places are. Its also a country where there is lots of spare space, reliable electric and smart folk who like to do all sorts of science experiments; and there is often Weather – so buying or using strong lamps or other devices that use a lot of electric at random times doesn’t look that suspicious…
