  • I’v not done much K, the few times I’v done it I just felt fatigued and dopey. Also I’m put of by how people look and act on K which are all elements of why I have steered clear of it.

But I love the surrealism of acid, its beautiful. I love the philosophy my mind conjures on it and the visual hallucinations are gorgeous.

The only problem is LSD makes me feel horrid the next day and I can only do it three- four times a year (its takes planning as I cannot do it out of home or if I have anything to do the next day)

A girl I met the other day suggested that one day I should do K and the end of a night out. She said that the most surreal moments she has ever experienced have been on K (and this girl has been quite big on the drugs scene) She said it was like no madness she had ever experienced and this makes me really curious to try it one day. She also said that its hard to freak out when you are on K unlike acid, it was more relaxed and the comedown was not half as bad.

What are everyone’s thoughts on this?

Never done it but maybe we met the same girl? as a friend of mine told me the same the other day at a festie, she said she has had some real spiritual moments and some real celestial times on K

This was in Brighton so maybe not, how comes you never wanted to try it?

When I was about 17-18 I had a boyfriend who came back from india with £5K worth in ‘rose water’
he was meant to sell it as he owed a lot of money to people

    he took the lot,
He ended up in lots of K holes and i got to know his mum really well!!

He pushed me in front of a car the last night we were together so put me off really ..

it wasnt around much in the UK then – about 20 yr ago, so just wasnt on my radar, i must admit I am more open to try it having heard this but old beliefs hold fast

yes it can give these feelings but only in the right set and settigns. but whenever I used to encounter it it was more being used for hedonism in sketchy situations where folk were doing sketchy things (often these were funny but when you do this level of skylarking it was a thin line between a fun time and actually getting nicked which I really could not risk in my late 30s (got in enough trouble in my 20s and that was without K).

if done in moderation maybe its possible but takign the stuff always made me sick as a dog anyway…

you’re comparing a hallucinogen and a dissociative. i had my first lsd experience just recently on my birthday and it was so special feeling so im biased probably. k can be well trippy, but its in the dissociative category so has certain characteristics. dissociatives work by shutting things down, whereas hallucinogens are the opposite… that said i’ve never seen my feet so far away on any other drug than k. but imo once you’re on the k trail you’re kinda having a night in, even if you’re having a night out…

my friend at uni was a big k head and i did have some goes and my dog actually owns some k, but its messy stuff if u do so much, you become a bit like an insect. that said i wouldn’t undo my experiences, even the bad ones. if u get good stuff its a proper slap tho so watch out… we described it as ‘being hit over the head by a trippy sledgehammer.’ that was a few years ago now and my dog hasn’t tried his stuff yet so i’ll be interested to see what he thinks of it cos he hasn’t done it in ages… 3 years… well proper k that is… oh yeh, theres a lot of ‘un-k’ that kinda doesn’t really do anything… i’ve had it a few times and its just feels like threshold dissociative, hardly noticeable.

Yeah that’s similar to how i describe an ambitious dose of strong k (not very much if you have no tolerance !!) it’s not as overwhelming as a strong shroom brew come up but much darker … But much shorter too, thankfully…

Though when i’ve done myself in with k the physical effects take a few hours to wear off!!

i have had more surreal experiences on K than anything else. i am yet to try DMT however.

I have had far weirder and more surreal experiences while K-holing than on any other type of drug.

I have experienced my own death several times, have experienced my birth, communicated with Myan spirits and been disected by aliens.

This one time I found that I was strapped to a metal table in a strange room. There were these weird ‘doctors’ in white coats around me taking notes. I was connected by cables to millions of monitor screens of all different sizes and shapes, each one was playing a moment from my life. One by one, the screens started to go to static as the scenes gradually ended. I knew with great certainty that I wasn’t real and that my memories were all just as a result of the gradually disappearing images on the screens and that once the last one had finished I would cease to exist. Suffice to say before this happened I came out of the hole to find that I was in fact real and that I had tried to get into a book case and had DVDs all over me!
