I’ve done some performance tuning this past couple of days being a bit jealous at how fast new SJ is so things should be faster around here…

Anyone notice the difference?

its fast even when i compete for network bandwidth at home ie browse thru a huge multi link download:crazy_fre

yep in last few days have noticed the board speed up (although it was never slow)

and this despite BT’s entire bandwidth being caned in this part of Suffolk

Yup, I notice pages load in the blink of an eye now. Rather than the posts quickly cascading down the page.

love the fast load and the new forum layout

my only suggestion is that you put ‘adverts sub forums’ instead of just ‘sub-forums’ on the party advert section so its very clear this is where the ads go…for confused people like me:crazy_fre:crazy_fre

Out of interest. What did you tweak to increase your speed ?

I think ive had level 1 tweaked to its mac but would be interested in what you did ?
