Tbh there is not a absolute definition of the word chav, it varies.
I quite like breaking the law and drinking cheap cider in parks..I’ve been told thats chavy 😉

its not illegal to drink in the main park here, though if you are acting like an oaf the rangers will call the bobby on you.. I’ve just been reading their wildlife count though and there are no pigeons listed (probably because there are loads on my estate) and even ducks and geese are smaller in number compared to SE England. And hassling them isn’t allowed either (there are whole areas set aside for encouraging wildlife as well as the usual Council park thing).

I probably could get away with blatantly drinking a bottle of Adnams sat in the peace garden (I can’t afford Aspalls, its too posh and served in a “ladies drink” type bottle anyway) though I would probably encounter someone from the local nature group along with the rangers and they would be more likely to take pity on me and think I’ve been driven to drink by sorting out some of the issues at the radio station….
