personally i found his books to be ok pulp fiction. i like the idea of a female hero from an alternative background but it just came across as a very square author trying to portray someone ‘different’ and really struggling… she has a tattoo, dyed black hair and didn’t go to school… yes and then what? oh now she magically has powers to investigate every aspect of powerful peoples’ lives …
just going through this tread is a years worth of culture to me
People should now that Stieg was a hardcore antifacist, he ran the magasine named *EXPO* and was a big protector of the feminist cause, these are facts that have gone missing when his books went international.
Long live the memory of Stieg Larson and may his legacy never rest in peace!
