LMAO sick shizzle man :weee:
as far as graf goes i can completely understand why ppl do it. a lot of my friends are writers and some of the peices they create are the daddys. howver theres def a time and a place for it and wat with the view the public hav on parties, and graf, its blatently not the time or the place for it. especially tagging. i no someone that got 7weeks in the pen for tagging, he had done about 2 pieces (both pretty shit) yet tagged the fuck outta the city. in my view its all very well gettin ur name out but theres not much rely at all to scrawing an alias over someones shop/ property, thats not art. long live actual graf pieces tho raaa but jus not at parties. (not talking bout squat parties however cos i no nothing of that scene, jus a humble, not inbred, norfolk lad!)
I like graf, some of my old friends from Reading/London used to do it – but
the problem with tagging is that some of the people (NOT all) from crews see it as a gang/territory thing as well as art (some in London are known to rob people to pay for the paint) and as you said people tag up everywhere and damage a lot of property thats actually in use..
And at least in London and the SE England squat parties, it starts off with tags, then people smash partition walls, then the windows – people get out of control..
it is what makes great britan tick admit nowt any doubt get nob out missbehavein and raving
same old scenario … and a very true comment …
it amazes me how we work, our minds bodies and ‘soul’
… thats a funny word
not as funny as willy….
yeah … you beat me on that one
I agree it’s a nightmare people smashing up buildings and graffing them it just brings it on top for people who just want to have a party.
We had people doing this at a venue in Reading a few years ago it was a quality venue we did parties there for bout 9 weeks in a row without any hassles from the police. But on a number of occasions we had to throw people out for graffin main reason being it was a fairly small venue an the fumes from the paint were so bad everyone had to go outside kind of killing the party vibe !
As for smashing building up there was another party in Reading which was a large building. Certain crws took upon themselves to smash the fuck out of this building. They did hundreds of thousands worth of damage to this place. it was not owned by a rich landlord as i far as i can remember it was owned by a charity ! nice one
My point is if all you want to do at the weekend is vandalise buildings then go an do that why bother bringing it on top for people who just want to have a party.
😥

this is one of the main reasons why Thames valley have a zero tolerance policy on raves in the area nowadays..
hate vandalism at parties cos decreases police tolerance, like the party last night where someone thought it funny to throw beer at the police car and spray painted some trees… idiot :you_crazy :mad_curse
it is pointless.
would you do it in your own home? no. (im some cases yes)
I want free parties to continue, and I don’t want people who run them or people that attend them to continuously get bad reputations because a pathetic minority are ruining it for everyone… especially when the majority are alright and even clean up the leftover rubbish, AND EVEN recycle it. If we cleaned up the rubbish, and didn’t vandalise, then maybe the OB would be more willing to cut us some slack etc etc etc.
I’m in on stopping vandalism if I see it being done at free parties. =]
Is that the ones causing the vandalism are the ones who u dont want there in the first place and they seem to be the majority of people at the party. I dunno how it happens at every single squat every weekend in London…. Tehn theres a fight etc etc etc
Better security, but then more money to get in!!!!
