This is a genuine transcript of a dream I had after attending a transition towns meeting. I put it on another site I am on where there was a thread about dreams but thought it worth sharing here. Other than the ketamine ninja dream in about 2005 I am not particularly prone to lucid dreaming. The TT meeting was on a tuesday and I was stone cold sober, not even alcohol. make of it what you will.
It started off with me logging on to PV – a post was there from Poly ranting that a gang of mice and a guinea pig (he was quite specific about the species) had got in to his house and run away with all his drugs (literally picked up the bags in their teeth and run away). They weren’t his
pets, just random animals..
Also I was being shown around a sort of prefabricated shed-type building, which was around the Felixstowe area. in there was all these sewing machines and other stuff in there and it was going to be used for making clothes in. it had been set up by women from South Asia, the Phillipines and English hippy girls as well. the idea was that rather than get the entire clothes from China and India, just the fabric got delivered to Felixstowe and the clothes were made in England
but also a giant rabbit was running around everywhere, the size of a bull-terrier but no one was particulary bothered by it (giant rabbits do indeed exist!). it was friendly and did not intefere with the factory, just ran around everywhere like rabbits do.
Most of the women were on their break so I was just looking a the factory,. there was a mixture of 1980s electric sewing machines and the old manual ones, and loads of bits of fabric were draped from the ceiling. it wasn’t like a “sweatshop” to make just one kind of garment but arranged so people could make clothes for their culture or work together…
and then there was some news report and two scientist dudes in white coats were sheepisly apologising for all the animals everywhere (I think was like some big experiment had gone tits up and all sorts of intelligent creatures had escaped)
I was with a friend of mine and we were saying we should make a film of the clothes factory “for the news” (the rabbit was still running around!).
