I also thought about going up – but too would have been on me own as mark working a triple split shift today – and thought better of it

might want to edit your post as he has, unless I am being over cautious lol

ps damn it you could have picked me up and we would be living in large right now

well my anxiety prompted me to tidy the house and do my ‘snow day’ essay rather than leave it til tomorrow –
so if I’d have planned ahead – it would have been fun to see you again !
atleast now I can have a hangover day :laugh_at:

I was tempted as know a fair few of the people who will be there but its still £32 to get the train (when I lived in Reading it was much less or I would have gone with a certain rig van 😉 ) but I’d still feel on edge all through the night as its Londonistan, even with security you have to watch your back (also in case of random searches from metpol) – plus I’ve got to get back to reality at some point and sketchy comedown journeys to Liverpool street and back to Suffolk are no fun especially when you get turfed off the train and have to take some ancient bus for miles on the A12 :yakk: – the trains are always disrupted on Sunday…

we had a little party here on all hallows eve and I really felt for one of the guys who’d come from the midlands for it (bless him!!)
I’d planned to get up and make him breckie etc before he left but the first I realised was when I heard the door shut – that was about 4 hours after we’d got to bed (9ish) and it took him til 4pm to get home…… !!! :hopeless:

didn’t go due to weather, this is naff as its turned out not as bad. Will be going though to one on 18th.

sounds fair enough to me, I wouldnt bother with that much effort for a party like that. Do you do get to many free partys these days assuming your happy to say online?

if it were £15-20, and we had a train service what fucking worked on weekends I’d go.. there are reasons why East Anglia is seen as isolated and National Express is one of them.. it is 80 miles away after all..

don’t you live in London and decided not to go because of weather? 😉

I used to go to a fair few (and legal ones too) until the entire area got locked down, a lot of people here (younger than me!) knocked drugs on the head, “grown up” and dropped out of the scene (which means there are also less legal events)…

not at the moment but did live in London for 12 years, normally travel up on megabus. I had visions of it travelling up and it being stopped or something due to freezing conditions. Or even me getting me flu which happens with remarkable regularity when I’m in London. I will however be going to one on 18th.

I got a shindig in sauff lundun that night so might be around – could you pm me the no in case

its not the rave which gives you lurgi, its the bus/train journeys, and viruses being circulated through the ventilation systems of these vehicles… I once cycled from Reading to West London for a rave (this is in fact only 25 miles). I did do a lot more amfetamines back then…
