i dunno, but it sounds like BETTER which i thought suited GL’s post. Better that he sticks to his job as hes obviosuly happy with it rather than fuck it up by going to parties

its definitely not worth fucking this up for many of todays parties. They haven’t really moved on from about 5 or 6 years ago in many respects.
Come to a psy party then! 😀

I’ve had to calm myself down quite abit but I think moderation and being sensible where you go defo / what yo getup to comes into it
had a wicked weekend Last weekend – was miles away from my work and home – absolutley blinding tunes and people and legal (well the first party was atleast – by the time we got to the after party I couldnt give a fuck was minus 8 and had walked half way across town:laugh_at:)

sounds a right hoot 🙂 maybe GL cant juggle the 2. patying and being succesful in his job. so i think its pretty sensible of him an obviously knows where he wants his life to go. an by the sounds of it hes probably partied enough an got it out of his system. who am i to say anything tho. a right royal fuck up with no self control AT ALL.
im talking like i know GL when i actually dont and could be completly wrong. speak up G?

No doubt the party slogan about **** the police might conceivably have been a trifle provocative …

its a lot harder when the nearest parties are miles away, and your mates are often much younger and take more risks – so they don’t care about being nicked or lunching out work on Monday.
Also because of what I do and where I work the local cops are often visitors there (nothing sinister, just preventing crime against vulnerable people or investigating it when reported) and I am in a prominent management role there so I have to keep my nose clean a bit more than when I worked in a faceless large organisation.
Most importantly though, peoples safety depends on some of the comms equipment I work on, its what links my organisation with the NHS including doctors and hospitals…

it was with my other halfs mates –
most of them are in their late 30’s 40’s and 50’s – propper party heads,
and lovely nice people I’ve met as a subsequent of meeting him (and most hold down a ‘regular’ proff job too)
but propper wild too :bounce_fl:bounce_fl
the girls seem to have finally accepted me (2 yr on) as I did feel a bit of an outsider with some of em – ‘out of town lass’ nicking one of theirs….. 😉

Haha you think??? We were gonna be going to play at it… however we got some inside info from a rig that used to be involved with Scumtek but didn’t go to the last one and now doesn’t want anything to do with them…. Hence why we’ve had a nice night in and lots to drink instead…
Latest is there’s another party on elsewhere but i won’t put anymore info…

it really is impressive!
theres some propper ‘ard core still at it most weekends with propper jobs and stuff
I personally cant handle that – esp as what I do – it really wouldnt be fair to my ‘customers’,
I’m prob what I’d call a part timer as I do it when I can – but my responsibility does ultimately come first when it comes to illegals etc but still love it and will as much as posss – think I had a real calming down period in my late 20’s and have got back on it in my 30’s …. think it prob was right for where I was at as much more sensible and stable now :laugh_at:
I mean I’m getting a cat ffs… how sensible am i ? :laugh_at::laugh_at:

LOL. very sensible of you indeed. even more sensible that your getting a cat an not a dog. means you can party when you want to an not have to worry about the dog
cats can look after themselves in the short term. dogs on the other hand are a handful
that areas and maybe even that warehouse has been used before, I remember going to a rave there in 2006, I think the building has also been used since then.
