My god, what a wicked festival.
I know loads of people are going to go on and on about the theiving/security problems but my attitude is, if you can’t live without it, don’t leave it in your tent…
Anyway, me and my BF have a small hand-held flourescent torch, which lights up a good circle while you are walking along… it diffuses the light too so you can see a lot. I bought it in Lidl for €2.99 (about £2)!
With this torch we found: Someone’s ticket and credit card bill (you need ID to get into Glade) – we handed it into security. An eighth of weed… a bag with 3 pills in… a wrap of cocaine… £5… a CK belt… a hat… someone’s credit cards which we also handed in… an ankle chain… and I know there was some other bits and pieces but I can’t remember exactly what…!
Needless to say, there was a lot of very mashed people and we all lose stuff when we’re mashed!
This torch gobbles batteries and a set of 4 AA’s only lasts one night’s walking about, luckily I had spares. The torch and the batteries paid for themselves several times over!
